Questions

What counts as a request?

Every API call (search, agent article fetch, timeline query, etc.) counts as one request. MCP tool calls count the same as REST API calls.

What happens if I exceed my quota?

You'll get a 429 response with a clear message. No surprise charges. Upgrade your OrbisX plan at orbisx.ai or wait for the next billing cycle.

Can I add more countries later?

Yes. Country add-ons are available on Business and Enterprise plans. Contact us for multi-country pricing.

Is there a rate limit?

Free: 2 req/sec. Business: 10 req/sec. Enterprise: 50 req/sec. These are burst limits independent of your monthly quota.

How do I get the Business or Enterprise limits?

Use the same email address on Orbis Builders and on OrbisX, and make sure it is verified (sign in to the Builders dashboard once). Your limits follow your OrbisX plan automatically, and your existing API keys keep working. If your OrbisX plan ends, your limits return to the Free plan within a few minutes.

Can I still buy a Pro plan on Orbis Builders?

No. New Builders subscriptions are closed. Existing Pro subscribers keep their plan and can manage it from the dashboard.

Do MCP calls count towards quota?

Yes. MCP tools use the same API backend, so they're metered identically.
